The Youth Foundation of Jersey City’s Junior Board is a group of passionate, community-minded young leaders who support the mission of the Foundation while developing their own individual service and professional skills. Junior Board members serve as ambassadors for the Foundation, helping to raise awareness, support fundraising and community events, and identify new opportunities to advance the organization’s impact. Through collaborative involvement, members gain the opportunity to serve their local community directly.

The Youth Foundation Junior Board also provides a meaningful pathway for the next generation to keep the Foundation grounded in the work it sets out to do. By bringing genuine youth perspectives and innovative ideas to the organization, Junior Board members help ensure that the Foundation remains connected to the needs, interests, and aspirations of the youth it seeks to represent.

Above all, the Junior Board is about leadership through service. By empowering young people to make a difference in their communities, the Junior Board helps students build the skills and compassion that will shape them as future leaders.
