Youth Event Notes-2025
On Saturday, September 27th, we’re hosting an ALL-FREE Youth Event at Pershing Field—a dynamic, community-centered event designed to celebrate and uplift Jersey City's youth through sports, arts, and culture.
This one-day event will feature a variety of engaging activities, including sports games and challenges, a vibrant art zone, live musical performances, and interactive experiences like henna art stations. We’re thrilled to welcome the Wonder Girls as special guests, bringing their inspiring energy and message of confidence, leadership, and self-expression, and much more.
From music and movement to creativity and connection, this event is meant to bring together young people from across the city in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. We’re excited to create space for youth to shine, express themselves, and feel supported by their community.

Night of Broadway
We’re thrilled to announce our fourth annual Night of Broadway on Wednesday, May 7th 2025! Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with show-stopping performances, incredible youth talent, and a celebration of the arts—all for a great cause.
Obie Award-winner James Jackson Jr. (A Strange Loop, White Girl in Danger) is bringing his powerhouse talent to the stage as the emcee of our Night of Broadway event! He’s lit up Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, Carnegie Hall, and Radio City, and shared the mic with legends like BD Wong, Ryan Reynolds, Bonnie Milligan, and Elizabeth Stanley. His hit shows Shady Sings the Blues and The Black-Ups have captivated audiences nationwide. Co-host of 5 Questions with James and JAM and 2024 Westfield State Alumnus of the Year, James is a must-see force in Broadway and cabaret. Deck the Halls
Please join The Youth Foundation of Jersey City for our 2nd Annual Holiday Fundraiser, “Deck the Halls,” featuring festive yuletide carols with Saint Peters Vox, McNair’s Chorus, and New City Kids. All for a great cause. Our goal is to help support the youth of Jersey City in ways that can improve their lives and help them thrive. Your support allows us to make a difference!

Rooftop Soirée
Please join us on Wednesday, October 12th, at 6 pm for an evening of networking. Enjoy local food, wine, and beer at Swift & Co’s rooftop. We are honoring Mayor Steven Fulop with special guests Dr. Norma Fernandez and Councilman-at-Large Daniel Rivera. All proceeds go to the Youth Foundation of Jersey City.
A Night of Broadway
For the first time ever on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, the Youth Foundation of Jersey City is hosting “A Night of Broadway” to raise funds for charitable efforts. Local performers and performing arts schools will be joining together to celebrate the best on Broadway in front of a Jersey City audience… right on Erie Street! Tickets may be purchased at the door, but we highly recommend reserving in advance. Please note that this is an 18+ event.
